Oddly enough neither Google Maps nor the Petro Canada website identifies a station on the east side. We'll just have to watch for it.

Been there for many years about 2 blocks north of the lights a Beaver Lake Road passed the A&W.

The PetroCan is 600 Meters North of the Beaver Lake Road intersection on 97 (according to Google Maps)

Thanks for the info on the location of the Petro Can. Apparently when we asked Google Maps to locate the station it chose a map scale that reveals the closed one but not the open one on the other side of 97.

The 7-11/PetroCan on the West side of highway 97 has actually been open this summer (so Google is not up to date). I went to meet other riders earlier this summer "At THE PetroCan in Winfield" and went to the wrong one simply because I saw it first and wasn't quite sure about the 2nd one (where we are meeting tomorrow)...
