I believe that the KL 315 fuel filter is the OEM filter in the following BMW motorcycles but you should verify.

These fuel filters are not sold separately by BMW (you have to buy the entire pump assembly).

Do these filters fit inside the fuel tank?

Yes the filter is inside the tank. It is rather different in that it has a hose barb on the bottom end (the hose goes to the fuel pump) whereas the top end is pressed against the lid of the fuel pump assembly by a clamping bracket with a 9mm x 2mm o-ring in between (not included).
